Gloucester County Improvement Authority
The Gloucester County Improvement Authority (GCIA) has been a part of the community since 1963 and is uniquely qualified to serve municipalities and the business community. The GCIA can help provide businesses, local governments and not-for-profit agencies with the capital they need to grow. The GCIA serves as the County’s bonding capacity and has the statutory power to acquire, build and finance most public facilities including municipal buildings, fire houses, schools, sewer plants, roads, bridges, parks, affordable housing, ports, airports, and community complexes.
In partnership with the Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders, the GCIA remains dedicated to providing new and growing economic development tools and opportunities to the residents and businesses of Gloucester County. The GCIA can assist with redevelopment finance, housing finance, and offer benefits such as no down payment, flexible repayment plans, lease purchasing and CAP exemptions.
Through an aggressive and targeted program, GCIA is helping to develop Gloucester County into a magnetic and diverse business to community while preserving the open space that has been such an integral part of Gloucester County's culture. Working together, we strive to offer valuable services and enhance the quality of life for all residents.
